yesterday gave a pre-taste of summer. Spent the day with gardening and planting, a delicious dinner outside with
Tarte Tatin Surprise

Weekend is already lurking around the corner.
In the afternoon I have to do some studio cleaning,
especially removing paper snippets from the floor
and looking forward to Silke´s visit on Monday.
Silke makes amazing screenprinted fabrics and I can´t wait to see them in real.
and he is right, at least when looking at his "ingredients". For my paper cuts I love to use paper from packages,
postcards, flyers etc. with nice colors or patters. Some of these papers are also connected with the person
that gave it to me. Choosing and cutting this paper makes me think of that person and often puts a smile on my face.
Below is a picture of most of the papers that went into this little guy.

in the last weeks there was not much time for meeting people.
But yesterday we finally had a dinner party in the studio and it was so much fun.
I tried some recipes from my current favorite cookbook and this oh so yummy Persian Spinach dip
from one of my favoritefood blogs
Christine, brought me a lovely gift. A handmade box, coverd with fabric and decorated with one
of "my" woven ribbons.
Yeah, yeah lucky me :)
