vacation - some things I found at the beach

Sunbathing isn´t up to my alley, I soon get bored by just lying around.
But give me a flattering rubbish bag and you find me running up and down the beach for hours,
finding the most childish joy in poking and searching for stranded goods.
This time many plastic pieces like caps crossed my way.

essential when travelling: glue and paint

Also check out virginhoneys funny and cute beach beauties

amazing how you can make beauties out of washed up treasures...which other would probably see as rubbish.

Alleine der Tisch mit all dem drauf ist schon eine tolle Collage-Arbeit!

Oh Sandra, what a collection! but have to share with you that it also makes me sad. I've been looking into beach trash as I'm doing research for a new project and found this http://www.midwayjourney.com/

Lizette, thank you for the link. This is really shocking and yes very sad. Of course all that trash is a real problem and the much more important side of the story.

wow! that is a lot of plastic! of course, only you could mix them up into cute little critters :)

What a wonderful idea! The stuff you found looks so fun to create with. I'm with you, I can only lay in the sun for awhile before I get bored : )
