yesterday evening, a Gershwin themed Jazz concert down in the sewerage system of Cologne city.
Every visitor was served a peppermint twig before going downstairs...
and that was for good reason...
as feces were passing by very close to our left side...
But after about one hour we took the stairs to the skylight happily and filled with new impressions and wonderful music.
Thanks so much to all of you who accepted our special offer. Friederike and I are thrilled! We are looking forward to pack and ship your flying horses tomorrow when we are back in the studio.
A happy Sunday to you!

herzensart is turning 4 this year. Maybe it´s because I´m still without my sewing machine and therefore got some extra time for mulling, maybe it´s because soon I´m entering the 4th decade as well... anywayI find myself stuck in a midlife and business review.
In the last days I felt somehow overwhelmed with all my thoughts and troubles and was looking for a more structured way to have a closer look at some life and business topics. On my Internet research I found 2 sites that I think can be helpful and inspiring to get the ball rolling. I want to share them with you, in case you haven´t heard about these sites already
The Art of Nonconformity - unconvetional strategies for life, work and travel by Chris Guillebau
Zenhabits - simple productivity by Leo Babauta
P.S.: Oh and I changed my blog layout, hope you like it?

I had posted this video already this morning, but just in case you missed it here it is again
As promised more pics from the museum trip today: View slideshow
or check my flickr set for larger pics
I´m using time for filling my senses with new input by reading, cutting papers, drawing, smelling and tasting new spices, avoiding the highway and visiting an interesting exhibition today, which I´m so looking forward to. Maybe I can take some pics to show you later.
Here´s a little sneak peak

a kermis yesterday.... a merry-go-round, three children and a father taking a ride...
I took some pics and my husband asked if I wanted to take a ride with him too, but I refused.
I stood there, watchedthe children flying through the air and remembered how it felt, when I was a child. I loved the merry-go-round and could not get enough of the feeling it caused deep inside the belly, something between giggling happiness, excitement and feeling carefree.
I know I would have enjoyed a ride yesterday, I guess it would have brought back all the wonderful feelings. But I thought it would be childish and therefore didn´t do it.
Why is it so difficult to live in the present moment, taking life with both hands, nourishing the child inside of us? Sometimes I wish I was a little girl again, with pure thoughts and a blank soul.
Waiting for the next chance to take a ride....
