"the-searching-for-a-name-contest"

Hello friends,
have you seen our newest little guy? Isn´t he a cutie?

wanna see more pics ?

But we have a big problem...........this fellow needs a name! Not an ordinary name like "Friederike!" or "Sandra" or "Michael" and so on..... I´m sure you know what I mean. NO!!! He needs a special name, an unique name, a fantasy name, a name just for him (or is it a her?)

So, if you have any suggestions don´t hesitate to notify me (comment here). Your effort is not for nothing. The person who gives us a name which suits him/her best will recieve this unique card, made by me.

Your suggestions will be accepted until Saturday, 1st of July 2006.

Thank you in advance!
yours Friederike!

I also like my mothers name "Oscar"!!!It's a very typical name here in Portugal, but not vused often! It it gets beautifull with your softie!!!

The newest names:
"Meeeeehndy"/"Määääääähndy" made me laugh. Superb!
"Oscar" is also a german name.

Looks like "O´Malley" the Street Sheep :-)
Kisses and best wishes from Andrea(Munich) !!!

How about Raccoon? (or a romantic variation... La Raccoon? )
He just reminds me so much of the little baby raccoon we found abandoned a few days ago...and we're nursing back to health. That tummy! That face! He looks as if he'd curl right up into a little fuzz ball and fall asleep.

his name is Nymms the Peaceful Warrior. he makes wool blankets from his own hair and throws them on his enemies - it's like wrapping them in a warm hug.....

Wow, it just occurred to me that if "Finnegan" gets the nod you won't know where to send that wonderful card so am providing more complete information here:)

You might just have to go into production making several of these sweeties - with all the suggestions that you are getting!

I instantly thought of Bam Bam - the leetle lamb. =) Very sweet work!

stripedsocks19 said...

What a super blog I have stumbled upon! A sweet, sweet softie deserves a sweet, sweet name..... Funny, I read the entries first and my first instinct was "blue" and someone else said "azul" which is blue in spanish. Another might be "marmalade" or "sasha" or "asher" or "flora" or "ginger" or "lulu" or "sadie pepper"
How fun! -Jessica

stripedsocks19 said...

Wait! I've got another one! "clementine"..... -Jessica

noricum said...

"Murmle"

mimu said...

Barbara C. said...

"Lana" (I believe that's Italian for wool)

cruz said...

She reminds me of my sweet daughter, Allegra, whose nickname is Lulu!

Friederike! said...

SENSATIONAL!!! Dear friends, thanks for giving me these names:
"azul", "lulabelle", "poony", "Bam Bam", "blue", "marmalade","sasha", "asher", "flora", "ginger", "lulu","sadie, "pepper", "clementine", "Murmle", "pududu", "Lana" and again "Lulu".
Like Dale Smith said, with all these wonderful names I have to think of "going into production" making several of these "nameless until Saturday" creatures.
4 days left.............
cu, Friederike!

Friederike! said...

@sweet treat: oh, I like your idea of a little zen master very much. I also didn´t think of a lamb at all, when I created it. But after so many people saw a lamb in it I believe it also in the meantime ;-) I love Yojhi! Thank you!
